The city offers residents opportunities for boating, sailing, fishing, swimming, bicycling, and picnicking at Cherry Creek State Park, the Aurora Reservoir, and the Quincy Reservoir. In addition, more than 8,000 recreation programs are offered annually by the Library and Recreation Services Department, and the beautiful Rocky Mountains are less than an hour’s drive away.
